WHAT A WEEK

What a week we've had. It started off last Friday evening, when I received a phone call from my
mom, saying she had received a phone call from AW's brother saying that AW's niece's husband
Danny had just had a heart attack. I hung up the phone thinking, Danny will be okay. He's young, he'll get to the hospital they'll fix him up and he'll be just fine.

That's not the way it went. Twenty minutes later my mother called back and said Danny did not make it. AW and I just sat there looking at each other stunned. We couldn't believe it.

Danny was the sweetest, nicest guy you would ever want to meet. Did not meet a stranger. Helped everyone he possibly could, had a heart for kids who were troubled and messed up from a lousy past. He was such a good guy. Great husband, great daddy to his two girls. Wow, are they all
going to miss him.

We had the funeral yesterday on Thursday. AW did the funeral. Through tears of his own, he managed with the Lord's help to get through it. He did a great job. After the funeral about 65 people were at my house eating.

I will say this, Tracy has some of the nicest and sweetest friends, that came to be with her. Such
loving and kind godly people, you could just tell.

Work has been horrific this week. The stress on the house is mounting up quite well. AW's feeling most of it.

But what can I say, compared to other people's problems, that's not much. God is good and HEis in control.

JONAH GETS MARRIED

JONAH WAS IN A WEDDING LAST WEEKEND. I TALKED TO HIM WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO THE REHEARSAL. I SAID, "ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED?", NOT TONIGHT HE SAID, TOMORROW.

HE LOOKED SO CUTE. TODD AND KRISTEN SAID HE DID A GREAT JOB.

WE TOOK HE AND FINLEY TO CHICK'F'LAY LAST NIGHT. SOME CUTE LITTLE BLONDE TOLD JONAH SHE LOVED HIM WHEN WE LEFT, NOT KNOWING WHAT RESPONSE TO GIVE HER HE SAID, "I LOVE YOU TOO." I'M THINKING WAY TO EARLY FOR THAT. GOSH, I HATE TO SEE HIM GROW UP.
